Ohhh... Leah's mom took us to WD-50 about a year ago. That was some very unusual but yummy food.

I love the whole molecular gastronomy thing. Food's getting stranger, but if it means it's getting tastier, too, I'm all for it.

I'm reminded of a piece I read yesterday about truffle oil: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/16/dining/16truf.html

My first thought was: "They can convincingly synthesize truffle flavor? Awesome!"

Which isn't quite the attitude of the article.
